I met Nigel in Guildford when I purchased a cutting board. I was taken by the quality and asked him to convert a piece of walnut to more cutting boards - they were spectacular, so I them commisioned a few oak shelves which were perfect. A real wood specialist.

Nigel made me a stunning Chestnut chopping board, absolutely beautiful and sits centre stage in the new kitchen: it’s a big bit of wood beautifully crafted and so worth the money, it’s a lifetime purchase and will serve the family well for many years to come. We commissioned Nigel to make us a replacement chopping board after meeting him on one of the Christmas markets in the area. He was very approachable, knowledgeable and professional. Nigel made me a beautiful bespoke display shelving set. Thoughtfully designed in three sections to be easily taken to and from markets, it’s not only practical it’s also a stunning piece of Nigel’s work. I’ve had many comments from market traders and customers about how perfect it is to display my cookies. Nigel treated the wood so it’s food safe - a huge bonus as it means I don’t have to worry about using display plates on the shelves, the cookies can go right on them! Highly recommend.

I commissioned two matching boards as a wedding present and the recipients loved them. Nigel takes great care when choosing his beautiful pieces of wood and this shows in the end result. Some of the boards are works of art and each one is unique, with gorgeous textures and colours.

I've bought two boards and some coasters, which Nigel made specifically for me. The boards are beautiful, I always get lots of positive comments hence a second board which was bought as a gift for my mum. This board is regularly used and we've had it nearly two years!
