A vey nice pice of Pippy Oak sourced from a timber yard in Cornwall in 2023, sometimes it takes a while to decide what to do with a pice.

Pippy oak, often called Cat’s Paw oak, is a decorative, high-character timber characterised by clusters of small, tight, dark pin knots (or "pips") scattered across the grain. These markings, caused by natural dormant buds or stress in the tree, create a rustic, wavy, and highly figured look.
